This place is terrible ! It is one of the place where they just try to get your money !! I would never ever go to repco again ! To all backpackers be careful !!!
Used this garage to give our Ford Escape a complete service over Christmas as we were heading for a long drive south. The service offered was great as we were offered to be dropped off back to our accommodation and then picked up when the car was ready. We had an issue before arriving to Exmouth where the oil cap popped off while driving and covered every component under the hood in oil. Kim and his team could clearly see that we had a problem and could have exploited the situation but come back with some useful information to fix some minor problems in the near future. Again they could have said that we needed to pay for the changes there and then but they were truthful and honest. We have since made it to Adelaide without any problems. Thank you.
Terrible experience in this garage. The staff is friendly and seems truthful. They told us that our transmission was good enough to hold for a few mouths (while we ask them for this particular problem). Then they took 820 dollars for the service and a few others fixing. Two days later, the transmission died and we spent an other 250 dollars (they said 200 on phone...) for a towing, to learn that we had to spent more than the cost of the car to fix it (6000 dollars). Then he told us that we had to spend about 900 dollars to get rid of the car.Someone in the city told it cost only 200 or 300 dollars for this, and that this garage is well known in the city to take advantage of people... don't go there!!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If youre quoted a price that sounds outrageous then youre probably right. This service centre is known to heavily overcharge vulnerable travellers. Quoted $1200 without an actual diagnosis. Went elsewhere and received a completely different diagnosis at a fraction of the cost. Very glad we trusted our instinct and moved on.
These guys and ladies were EXCELLENT. Got us straight in, fixed the problem and had us on our way. They were all cheerful and went the extra mile for us. So so recommend them.
