Friendly staff who got us checked in. We stayed in the chalet and had everything we needed being in a rural area. Make sure you bring own drinking water, as the rain water tanks still taste very metallic. Bed and facilities were clean, the place seems a little run down but being in the middle of nowhere, this is as good as it gets. The caravan park even has its own petrol pump, and the price was cheapest on the peninsula. Last place to fill up before heading in to the national park.Right next to the light house, walkable distance or 5 minute drive up the hill so you dont need to walk back down after sunset.

The generators killed my phone. More than 500 pictures of my travels are gone and neither Apple nor a recovery institution for electronic devices can get them back. Even though there was an electrician to check the power point who figured out that there were numerous things wrong with it (quote Ningaloo Lighthouse Holiday Park), Im still not getting anything replaced. I was lucky not be holding my phone in my hand and that I was able to take my hand fast enough away from the exploding socket so I didnt get hurt.

It's a great location with the beach just across the road and easy access to Cape Range National Park. The biggest minus is the poor quality water at the caravan sites. Overall, we found it quite good considering the remote location. No sign of the new owner Twiggy anywhere.

If you stay here you need to have your van water tank full as they have salty bore water. It's all dirt parking for van so dust everywhere. Had a pretty good meal at the onsite tavern. Not my first choice but if I was better prepared next time I may come back again.

We have stayed here twice. Once in a cabin and currently staying again in a chalet on the hill. The cabins and shower block could do with some renovations but the chalet is more modern, although double the price. I like the location as it's not in town and closer to where we like to snorkel. Staff are really friendly!
